NDA to conduct UK deep disposal

The UK’s Nuclear Decommissioning Authority (NDA) has confirmed that it will act as the implementing body for deep geological disposal following the transfer of Nirex functions to the NDA.

The NDA is now discussing with Nirex plans for their integration, with a detailed consultation to take place over the next three months.
