The State Enterprise Ignalina Nuclear Power Plant (the “Purchaser”) has received a Grant from the Ignalina International Decommissioning Support Fund (IIDSF), administered by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the “Bank”) towards the cost of Tools and Equipment for Dismantling & Decontamination in Building 117/1 (B13).
The Purchaser now invites sealed tenders from suppliers for the following contract to be funded from part of the proceeds of the Grant:
Provision of D&D Tools and Equipment for INPP Building 117/1
In accordance with the specifications provided by the Purchaser, the successful Tenderer shall supply and, where specified, design and install the Tools and Equipment required for the decontamination and dismantling of redundant systems and equipment in INPP Unit 1 Building 117/1 as follows, which Tools and Equipment are the subject of this Invitation to Tender:
LOT 1 – Lifting equipment, including:
– Dispatch bay crane;
– Electric portal crane;
– Segment lifter.
LOT 2 – Ventilation equipment, including:
– Primary containments ventilation equipment.
LOT 3 – Cutting and Decontamination equipment, including:
– Vacuum blast equipment;
– Flame cutting equipment;
– Vertical band saw.
The scope of supply is divided into Lots, as specified above. The Tenderers are invited to submit their proposals for one or more Lots. Each Lot must be priced separately. Tenders for more than one Lot may offer discounts and such discounts will be considered in the comparison of tenders. The Purchaser will place one or several contracts with successful Tenderer(s).
The provision of D&D Tools and Equipment will also include where specified associated services, such as design, installation, commissioning and training.
The Contract will be subject to the EBRD’s Procurement Policies and Rules with the exception of country eligibility restrictions defined within the IIDSF Rules and will be open to tenders from the following eligible countries: EU member states, Norway, Switzerland and the EBRD Countries of Operations.
The proceeds of the grant shall not be used for the purpose of any payment to persons or entities, or for any import of goods, if such payment or import is prohibited by a decision of the United Nations Security Council taken under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations or under a law or official regulation of the purchaser’s country.
