As part of the commissioning work on the polar crane at unit 1 of the Akkuyu NPP under construction in Turkey, specialists of ESKM Corporation (Electrosevkavmontazh) have checked the electrical equipment. It was tested for compliance with the required parameters for such electric devices while secondary switching circuits and cable connections were also checked. The electrical equipment of the crane was then submitted to operating voltage for functional testing of the systems. Rosatom is constructing the reactors according to a build-own-operate model.
