Concerns over the large number of directorships held by the UK Atomic Energy Authority chair Barbara Judge are to be “looked into” by the National Audit Office.

While short of an official investigation, suggestions that Judge holds up to 30 directorships while working two days per week for the AEA led Edward Leigh, chairman of the Parliamentary House of Commons public accounts committee, to request an examination of the facts by the NAO. The NAO monitors how money is spent by the government. Judge is paid $120,000 by the AEA.
