The Institute of Nuclear Power Operations (INPO) has announced that WS Atkins Consultants has been approved by the INPO board of directors for membership in the INPO supplier programme.
INPO is a non-profit corporation established by the nuclear utility industry to promote the highest levels of safety and reliability in the operation of nuclear power plants. The INPO supplier programme was established in December 1982 to benefit the mutual interests of the US nuclear electric generating utilities and their suppliers in optimising the operation of nuclear plants. WS Atkins joins eight other nuclear industry supplier organisations worldwide as an INPO supplier programme participant.
