Westinghouse Electric in Sweden has been awarded a contract to supply reload fuel for the BrunsbĂ¼ttel plant in Germany. The contract, valued in excess of $15.5 million, encompasses four deliveries of fuel, with the first scheduled for 2004 and the final set for 2007.
Westinghouse in Sweden, with primary operations in VästerĂ¥s, has been the main fuel supplier to BrunsbĂ¼ttel since 1988. Since then, Westinghouse has delivered about 1000 assemblies to the plant.
BrunsbĂ¼ttel is an 806MWe BWR owned by Hamburgische Electricitäts-Werke and E.ON.
