The European Commission has asked nuclear experts to tender for a research project undertaking a comparative study of European Union (EU) and the International Atomic Energy Agency on the disposal, recycling or reuse of materials containing radioactive substances.
The work is part of a review of the EU’s basic safety standards directive for the nuclear sector.
