Nuclear Engineering International has been named as an official media partner for PATRAM 2019, the international symposium on packaging and transportation of radioactive materials.
PATRAM 2019 takes place August 4-9, 2019 in New Orleans, LA. It brings together experts from government, industry, and research organisations to exchange information on all aspects of packaging and transportation of radioactive materials from package design and analysis to transport operations and regulatory institutional issues.
This year's symposium is sponsored by the US Department of Energy, the US Nuclear Regulatory Commission, and the US Department of Transportation in cooperation, and is hosted by the Institute of Nuclear Materials Management (INMM) and the World Nuclear Transport Institute (WNTI).
As an official media partner, Nuclear Engineering International is preparing a special edition with a focus on the packaging and transport of radioactive materials for distribution to our global audience. In partnership with the INMM the issue will be distributed at the PATRAM event in both print and digital format to all attendees and members.
