Hayward Tyler has secured two new contracts worth over $6 million from nuclear customers in the USA and South Korea.
The first contract with one of the USA's leading nuclear operators relates to the provision of critical pumps and spare parts to reactors in the USA. The deal represents a "significant increase" in size of contract for that customer and an "important breakthrough" for Hayward Tyler, a statement said.
The contract with South Korea is for essential service waster pumps. Hayward Tyler has been an original equipment supplier of pumps and spare parts to the nuclear industry, including Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power, for more than 50 years.

"We are dedicated to supporting our international nuclear customers to drive down operating cost as well as increasing the reliability and safety of the systems that our pumps operate in,"
In February, Hayward Tyler announced it had won a £10m contract from Vattenfall to provide critical parts and components for the Reactor Internal Pumps installed at Forsmark in Sweden. Deliveries under that contract are expected between 2020 and 2022.
