Within two weeks all legal and organisational issues related to renaming the South Ukraine NPP will be completed, nuclear utility Energoatom acting head Petro Kotin said on 27 April. In accordance with Energoatom's order "On changing the name of South Ukrainian NPP", the procedure of bringing all documents in line with the approved new name of the enterprise - Pivdennoukrainskaya (separate subdivision South Ukrainian NPP) is in process. "Amendments to the registration, property, banking and other documents of the NPP will be completed within two weeks," said Kotin affirmed. He stressed that the functions, organisational structure, staffing and number of employees would remain unchanged. The Commissioner of the Verkhovna Rada (parliament) for the protection of the state language, Taras Kremin, noted: “One less Russian-language mixture!”
