NDA hunting repository director

10 July 2007

The UK’s Nuclear Decommissioning Authority (NDA) is seeking to recruit a Repository Project Director to lead the programme for the development of a UK deep geological repository for higher activity radioactive wastes.

The role has been created within the Radioactive Waste Management Directorate and arises following the government’s decision in October 2006 to give the NDA responsibility for developing the repository.

Richard Waite, NDA Director of Radioactive Waste Management said: "We are looking for the person who will lead in the development and management of the in-house and supply chain processes which will support the task of developing the repository."

Full details of the post are available on the NDA recruitment website: www.ndajobs.co.uk
