Magnox Electric has pleaded guilty to offences related to the unauthorised discharge of low level waste. The discharges occurred at Bradwell in August 1999 and Hinkley Point A in September 1999. The firm admitted to six offences in total, including failing to maintain its systems in a good state of repair and failing to inform the Environment Agency of the discharges.
