The Zaporizhia NPP (ZNPP) reported on its Telegram channel that among four residents of Energodar who were injured as a result of a drone attack, two are employees of the ZNPP who worked in the centralised repair shop.
“Unfortunately, one of our colleagues has died from his injuries. The second employee is receiving all necessary medical care. The doctors are fighting for his health, and we believe that he will recover,” ZNPP said.
ZNPP Communications Director, Yevgeniya Yashina, told TASS that plant management would inform the inspectors of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) at the plant about the death of their employee.
