Seismic safety under scrutiny in Taiwan

After two major earthquakes shook nuclear power plants in Asia, the seismic safety of Taiwan’s existing nuclear power plants was re-examined. The analysis examined at US-orientated seismic designs/regulations from a probabilistic risk point of view.
