Westinghouse Electric in Sweden has been awarded a contract to supply reload fuel for the Brunsbüttel plant in Germany. The contract, valued in excess of $15.5 million, encompasses four deliveries of fuel, with the first scheduled for 2004 and the final set for 2007.

Westinghouse in Sweden, with primary operations in Västerås, has been the main fuel supplier to Brunsbüttel since 1988. Since then, Westinghouse has delivered about 1000 assemblies to the plant.

Brunsbüttel is an 806MWe BWR owned by Hamburgische Electricitäts-Werke and E.ON.
