The scope of work shall include the design and the realization of a strainer prototype, the establishment of a test matrix and a specific test procedure dedicated for each Belgian plant, the test preparation (debris preparation, chemical precipitates production...), the interpretation of each test campaign and the redaction of reports. The objective is to qualify the passive strainers and obtain an approval from the Belgian Safety Authorities.

This lot concerns the resolution of the GSI-191 Issue: Assessment of debris accumulation on PWR Sump Performance for the Belgian Nuclear Power Plants. It aims to validate and to qualify by means of tests the performance of different passive sump strainers, currently installed in Tihange 3 NPP.

Starting 1.2.2010 Completion 31.10.2010.

LOT NO 02 TITLE Test campaign for Tihange 2 Nuclear Power Plant
This lot concerns the resolution of the GSI-191 Issue: Assessment of debris accumulation on PWR Sump Performance for the Belgian Nuclear Power Plants. It aims to validate and to qualify by means of tests the performance of different passive sump strainers, currently installed in Tihange 2 NPP.

Starting 1.5.2010 Completion 31.1.2011.
