Middlesborough-based IMH, which creates hydraulic products for a range of industries, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Advanced Actuators, a supplier of actuators, control solutions and hydraulic components.

The MOU has helped the partnership to secure work at EDF Energy's Heysham and Hartlepool nuclear power plants. Both power plants have numerous hydraulic units that are over forty years old.

The team’s comprehensive product knowledge enables them to source and supply high-quality spares and components to maintain or upgrade the systems.

"We are delighted to enter into this MOU as both organisations share [a] similar history and operate under the same values and client approach," said Ian Duffew, commercial director at IMH.

“The agreement will support the delivery of a coordinated solution, from bid to completion,” he added.
