The neverending story

Switzerland's Nordostschweizerische Kraftwerke (NOK) has applied for an operating licence with no expiration date for its 380MWe Beznau 2 plant when the current licence expires at the end of 2004.

The current licence was valid for only 10 years. Those that are affected by the plant have until 5 June to register comments and objections.
