Spent fuel consultancy, Mexico (Advance notice)

Cooperation in the development of a policy and strategy for the management of spent fuel (including provisions for its safe interim storage) and radioactive waste in Mexico.

The main objectives of this project are the elaboration of a national policy and strategy document for the management of spent nuclear fuel and radioactive waste (RW), based on the country's current practices, facilities and legislation, and the analysis of different options for the interim storage of spent nuclear fuel, account taken of the possibility to remove it from the reactor pools and including a technical and economical analysis of the available storage options.

Tender to be posted after 16 January 2011.

Maximum budget: 1 500 000 EUR.
