Mine starts production

The first uranium has been mined at the Dalmatovskoye deposit in the Kurgan Region. The largest in Russia, it could supply the country’s nuclear power stations with fuel for several centuries. The Malyshev mining directorate (Sverdlovsk Region) is managing the development.
