Gazprom gets cartel authority to buy stake in nuclear manufacturer

Russia's gas giant Gazprom has received cartel office (FAS) approval for the purchase of almost 54% in Atomstroyexport, a private company that manufactures nuclear reactors. The deal, originally announced at the end of November, does not apparently break any antitrust laws.
