AmerenUE has selected Duke Energy's Steam Generating Team (SGT) to replace the steam generators at the Callaway plant.
Duke said SGT will provide project management, engineering licensing, construction, quality assurance, support services and start-up testing for the steam generator replacement at the 1235MWe plant. The replacement is scheduled to take place during the autumn 2005 outage.
SGT is currently under contract to replace steam generators at Calvert Cliffs 1 and 2 and Oconee 1,2 & 3. The company was also recently awarded a contract to replace steam generators at the Prairie Island plant.
