Divers cut through Kursk hull

Salvage experts have penetrated the hull of the Kursk and found the reactors to be in better condition than had been expected.

Russian navy spokesmen said that divers had reported finding 'pure water' inside one compartment. There were no traces of fuel nor of increased radiation from the submarine's two reactors.
