Ian Jackson has been appointed asssociate director, nuclear strategy and new build at UK infrastructure consulting firm Halcrow, heading up its UK nuclear new-build business.

“If successful, Halcrow would expect to work with developers and constructors in both licensing and construction over the ten-year period,” a company statement said.

Nuclear Engineering International published a book of Jackson’s essays, Nukenomics: The commercialisation of Britain’s nuclear industry, in 2008.
