Reactor dosimetry for VVERs: past and future

A state-of-the-art review of dosimetry for reactor pressure vessel irradiation damage assessment and lifetime evaluation of Russian-type VVER reactors is presented. A verification of reactor dosimetry calculation methods, as well as a validation of the RPV fluence evaluation, is being carried out by technical support organizations and NPPs.
