Fuel loading has begun at unit 1 of China’s Taipingling NPP in Guangdong province, being built by China General Nuclear Power Group.
The unit is equipped with a third generation Hualong One reactor. This project was the first to use the Hualong One as part of the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Great Bay.
Once fuel loading is complete, comprehensive testing will begin at various power levels.
