Contract description:

The overall objectives of the project are:

— further enhancement of safety culture in the Brazilian NPPs by means of improvement of the effectiveness of NPP personnel training,

— transfer to the operating organisation ‘Eletronuclear’ of the best international practice and experience of EU utilities in systematic approach to training (SAT) application.

The project involves the following main tasks:

a) development of a simplified SAT implementation concept for the Angra 1 and Angra 2 NPPs based on international best practices;

b) analysis:

— review of the work performed to date,

— perform the analysis phase for remaining areas;

c) design:

— review of the work performed to date,

— perform the design phase for remaining areas;

d) development of training material;

e) implementation;

f) evaluation:

— establish and test a realistic methodology for evaluation of training effectiveness,

— development of the concept for a software tool to support the training effectiveness evaluation process;

g) training follow-up and management.

Numbers and titles of lots: The contract is divided into lots: No, 1 lot only.

Budget: Maximum budget: 1 000 000 EUR.

Scope for additional services: The contracting authority may, at its own discretion, extend the project in duration and/or scope, subject to the availability of funding, up to a maximum not exceeding the length and value of the initial contract. Any extension of the contract would be subject to satisfactory performance by the contractor.
