13 May 2010

Onet Technologies has teamed up with the Slovakian energy company Powen to create Onet Technologies Slovakia, a subsidiary based in Bratislava.

By taking up this strategic position, Onet says it will be able to play an active role in dismantling, decommissioning, clean-up and waste storage projects for the Bohunice nuclear power plant. It will also be able to promote its expertise in reactor maintenance and nuclear services for the Slovakian fleet of reactors in operation.

This new location strengthens Onet’s presence on the international civil nuclear market. The group already has subsidaries in Bulgaria, Romania, the UK and Italy. Its also has a prominent long-term alliance with Japan’s Mitsubishi Heavy Industries.
