NUKEM Technologies (part of Rosatom since 2009) announced that, after several years of being away from the UK, it has re-entered the UK nuclear market, with the opening of their new office in Warrington.
“Despite the ongoing world-wide situation with Covid-19 related issues, this move is key to NUKEM’s drive to bring its skills and services back to UK where it has had a great many successful projects, since its very first UK office in the early 90s.”
Dr Stefanie Foerster, NUKEMs new International Business Development Director said: “We are excited about this new opportunity to expand our business and better serve our customers in the United Kingdom, as well as the opportunity to enhance our continued delivery for our global clients. The UK office will work in close corporation with the NUKEM head office in Alzenau, Germany, as well as the many site-offices around the world on our current projects, to bring the knowledge and experience of our engineers and project managers to UK clients.”
NUKEM Technologies in Alzenau, Germany, is world-wide active in the areas of management of radioactive waste and spent fuel, decommissioning of nuclear facilities, engineering and consulting.
