Engineering, procurement, provision of fuel supply, provision of long term service agreements for specific items and construction, including commissioning, of a new nuclear power plant near the existing Borssele power plant, which shall be a pressurized water type with an electrical power output in the range between 1000 and 2500 MWe of a so called 'third generation advanced' light water type design and shall have to meet all relevant safety standards and other national and EU requirements, including the existing Netherlands' Nuclear Safety Rules (Nucleaire Veiligheids Regels, NVR) and any future updates thereof, to be provided by an EPC contractor on the basis of a lump-sum fixed price EPC contract for the nuclear island. The lump-sum fixed price shall be index linked to a publicly published price index. With regard to other parts of the contract, the pricing structure is to be determined later in the tender procedure. More information on the envisaged scope of work and the terms of the EPC Contract shall be provided after prequalification. The envisaged scope of work may be amended during the tendering procedure.
