High-temperature calorimeter, Germany (Deadline: 9 November 2011)

The Institute for Transuranium Elements is planning to purchase a drop calorimeter for the determination of enthalpy effects at elevated/high temperatures of radioactive samples. 2 types of measurements are foreseen: enthalpy increment measurements on pure inorganic materials and enthalpy of solution measurements of inorganic materials in molten media (oxides, fluoride and chloride salts).

The purchase shall cover the delivery and installation of the complete equipment, including training and related services.
