Amec wins Sellafield environmental framework

International engineering and project management company, Amec, has been awarded a framework agreement to provide specialist environmental consultancy support on the Sellafield site.

The three-year agreement (value undisclosed), will see AMEC provide a wide range of services related to all aspects of environmental support. This includes environmental modelling and monitoring, site characterisation, support on regulatory compliance and advice on legislation and training.

This contract, combined with existing engineering and design contracts, is another component of the wide range of services that Amec provides in support of operations at the Sellafield site.
