The FESCO transport group (part of Rosatom) has unloaded a batch of turbine and generator equipment for unit 4 of the Akkuyu NPP under construction in Türkiye, at the Vostochny cargo terminal. The total volume of the cargo amounted to 1240 tonnes. The weight of one stator alone was 435 tonnes.

All equipment was unloaded from the vessel using a mooring crane, and then delivered by road to the NPP site. The cargo was transported from the pier on hydraulic modular axles and unloaded at a warehouse using the SBL-1100 portal system. A total of 139 packages were involved.

FESCO is the unified logistics operator for the Vostochny cargo terminal at Akkuyu NPP. In October 2024, FESCO won the tender and signed a new agreement with project company Akkuyu Nukleer for loading and unloading and transport services, development of the necessary logistics infrastructure, and the processing of ships and goods at the terminal.
