Armenia and Russia will jointly produce heat sensors for NPPs Samvel Harutyunyan, the chairman of Armenia’s State Committee on Science of the Ministry of Education and Science, said on 17 January.
The joint project will be carried out in the framework of the first competition to support joint innovation projects of enterprises, announced in 2016 by the Russian Foundation for Assistance to Small Innovative Enterprises to Small Innovative Enterprises in Science and Technology (the Bortnik Foundation).
He said that, of 70 applications for financing, only 22 passed the technical expertise and only six projects were awarded funding. The Russian funding for the project is €100,000. The Bortnik Foundation is a state non-profit organisation set up in 1994.
