Westinghouse buy boosts Toshiba results

Releasing its results for the year to 30 March Toshiba has recorded a significant boost to its power systems sales figures on the back of its acquisition of Westinghouse.

Part of Toshiba’s Social Infrastructure Systems business, the segment produced consolidated net sales of ¥2,067.7 billion ($17.26 billion), up ¥185.4 billion ($1.55 billion) from the previous year.
