Turkey’s big nuclear plans

Turkey energy minister Hilmi Guler has announced his country intends to build between three and five nuclear energy plants in the Mersin Akkuyu region on the Mediterranean, or in Sinop, on the Black Sea.

Guler said Anakara was prepared to spend €108 billion on the expansion, aiming to complete construction by 2020.
