Tarapur deal for L&T

Larsen & Toubro's (L&T's) ECC division has received an instrumentation order worth Rs84.53-crore ($17 million) for Nuclear Power Corporation of India's Tarapur 3 and 4 project. The order covers design, manufacture, supply, installation and testing of field instruments, analytical instruments, UPS systems, special tubes and other accessories.

The total value of the projects in progress by ECC for the two 540MWe units is Rs912.53-crore ($187 million). The other projects include civil works (Rs352-crore, or $72 million), electrical project (Rs403.69-crore, or $83 million), service water system (Rs38.45-crore, or $8 million) and air conditioning and ventilation (Rs33.87-crore, or $7 million).
