FCX Newman Hattersley - part of the FCX International group of flow control distribution companies - has secured two orders for spare valves and valve parts worth CN$1.4 million ($900,000).
The orders were placed by Third Qinshan Nuclear Power Company (TQNPC) of China and Korea Hydro and Nuclear Power (KHNP). TQNPC and the China Nuclear Energy Industry Corporation will be supplied with spare valves and parts for the commissioning phase of Qinshan Phase III. FCX Newman Hattersley was one of the leading valve suppliers when construction of the two Candu units began.
FCX Newman Hattersley was also a leading valve supplier during construction of the four Wolsong Candu units in Korea. The company has been asked by KHNP to supply spare parts for the units.
