Russia’s Sevmash is to supply reactor components to the Beloyarsk nuclear plant under a deal signed with OKMB.
Sevmash will manufacture the reactor unit rotary plug, a structure 13m by 6m and weighing 240 tonnes.
In addition, the five-year contract will see Sevmash produce protective doors for the BN-800 fast neutron plant.
Sevmash also plans to bid for contracts covering the transfer bogie, cooling pond hydraulic lock, designing of reactor 2nd contour pipelines, simulators and such like.
