Russian nuclear reform bill signed

President Vladimir Putin has signed a nuclear industry reform bill into Russian law.

The bill, passed by the Duma in January allows nuclear materials and installations to be owned by shifted out of state ownership. Homogenous enterprises are to be transformed into joint stock companies as part of the restructuring process, which could take more than a year.
