R Brooks buys Robotic Concepts SAS

R Brooks of the USA has acquired Mondragon, France-based Robotic Concepts.

"The new Brooks subsidiary will provide a powerful European base for technology development as well as access to exclusive robotic technologies currently used in the French nuclear power industry. The Robotic Concepts research and development facilities will be essential for the development of future robotic technologies," the company said.

In addition to capabilities of advanced technical design of tooling crucial to the maintenance and prolongation of safe nuclear energy, Brooks’ new subsidiary comes with a complement of field technicians and operating engineers as well as a machine shop that can support intricate tooling design and production.
