Fire water circuit CEI replacement - Tihange 1, 2 & 3.

Lot 1: Replacement of the underground fire water circuit in Tihange 3.

The replacement of the existing underground fire water circuit includes:

— Study,

— Dismantling of the existing circuit,

— Supply, and installation of the new fire circuit (NPS 12" / 6" - ~1 700m, ANSI B31.1/DIN, P.E.D),

— 3 alternatives are considered:

Carbon steel piping.

Synthetic material piping (fiberglass reinforced epoxy resin pipe).

High density polyethylene HDPE.

— Civil works, trenches, road excavations, and rebuilding,

— Supply and installation of new valves (flange according to DIN),

— Supply and installation of new fire hydrants (BH100),

— Supply and installation of power operated relief valves down flow the main pumps.

The Royal Decree on "temporary and mobile work sites" shall be applicable.

Lot 2: Replacement of the underground fire water circuit in Tihange 2.

The replacement of the existing underground fire water circuit includes:

— Study,

— Dismantling of the existing circuit,

— Supply, and installation of the new fire circuit (NPS 12" / 6" - ~2 500m, ANSI B31.1/DIN, P.E.D),

— 3 alternatives are considered:

Carbon steel piping.

Synthetic material piping (fiberglass reinforced epoxy resin pipe).

— Carbon steel piping,

— Supply of the new supports and/or recovery or the current supports,

— Installation of new valves.

Lot 7: piping supply and installation, and valve installation according to ASME III code, in Tihange 2.

The replacement of the existing fire water circuit inside buildings (reactor building containment penetration) in Tihange 2 includes:

— Study,

— Dismantling of the existing circuit (piping and valves),

— Supply, and installation of the new fire circuit (NPS 6" - ~80m, ASME III code, safety class 2 and 3),

— Carbon steel piping,

— Supply of the new supports and/or recovery or the current supports,

— Installation of new valves.

Lot 8: piping supply and installation, and valve installation according to ASME III code, in Tihange 1.
