Mobile phone group Ukrainian Mobile Communications said that it would set up a GSM network in the exclusion zone around Chernobyl to help decommissioning work UMC said in a statement that it had teamed up with Siemens to provide GSM mobile networks coverage for the station, surrounding areas and Slavutych, the town built for Chernobyl workers.
