28 February 2001

Centra has announced that it will supply software to deliver on-line training to Westinghouse Nuclear Services. Westinghouse intends to use the system to train over 800 employees.

John Garber, the training coordinator for Westinghouse, said: “With Centra’s virtual classroom software, we will be able to make an easier transition to training delivered on the web.

“We feel that using Centrica is a critical component of our virtual university. We are confident that our employees will learn in a highly interactive, peer-to-peer environment that is more cost-effective and convenient, eliminating the travel time and expense associated with attending physical meetings.
