New NRC chair sworn in

Dr Dale E. Klein, 58, has been sworn in as chairman of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) having been designated by President Bush.

Klein previously served as Assistant to the Secretary of Defense for Nuclear and Chemical and Biological Defense Programs, a position he assumed in November 2001.
