New head of Russian nuclear power stations concern appointed

15 April 2005

Russia’s state-owned nuclear generation company Rosenergoatom is to be headed up by the director of the Kaliningrad plant, Stanislav Antipov.

Already deputy director-general of Rosenergoatom, which runs all ten Russian nuclear power plants, Antipov will be the new director general. He is expected to take up his new position in late April or May and will replace Oleg Sarayev, who has headed Rosenergoatom since 2002.
