New ENS president

The European Nuclear Society (ENS) has annouced that professor Vladimir Slugen has been elected as its new president, succeeding David Bonser.

Professor Slugen has been president of the Slovak Nuclear Society since 2004 and is full-time professor in nuclear power engineering at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology of the Slovak University of Technology, in Bratislava. Professor Slugen will serve the Society, as of 2 December 2009, for a period of two years.
