IT Services provider Aveva has teamed up with UK-based engineering information management company Pearson-Harper to create a "one stop shop" for data management throughout the lifecycle of a plant.
Pearson-Harper will provide the information and content management services, and the resulting information will be delivered through Aveva's Vantage system, which brings together 2D and 3D models, documents and engineering database information in a single application independent web environment.
Aveva will incorporate Pearson-Harper's Phasset asset data collection and validation toolset into its Vantage suite. The alliance will be marketed worldwide through Aveva.
