GSE wins Chinese nuclear simulator contractors

5 April 2012

GSE Systems has won contracts worth $7.5 million to supply engineering simulators to two Chinese nuclear engineering companies.

The company will deliver engineering simulation solutions that provide a verification and validation (V&V) platform of instrumentation and control (I&C) systems for new third generation nuclear plants being built in China. Work began in March 2012 and is expected to be completed by 2015.

“GSE’s simulation technology allows customers to verify and validate systems and processes at the design stage, when changes can be made more easily and less expensively than during plant construction,” said GSE chief executive officer Jim Eberle.
