Grontmij gets support contract renewal

Grontmij has been re-awarded a framework contract to provide peer review support services to Research Sites Restoration Limited (RSRL) at Harwell and Winfrith. The contract is for a maximum of three years and must be renewed every 12-months.

Engineering consultant Grontmij has been supporting the UK nuclear industry since 1998 when it was first contracted to provide technical knowledge in both engineered systems and safety case to support RSRL’s decommissioning programme.

More recently, Grontmij has been working on decommissioning projects at Lithuania’s Ignalina plant, through contracts with UKAEA, RSRL, Scott Wilson, Imperial College and the NDA.
